The Succinct Jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester derived from multiple sources of post-consumer and post-industrial waste including PET water bottles and textile waste. Ultimately, the recycled poly fabric in the Succinct Jacket requires less energy and oil, produces less pollutants, and reduces landfill waste compared to other, non-renewable fabric sources.
While most of our products have robust recycling systems, the recycled polyester fabric used in the Succinct Jacket is not able to be recycled at this time. Our intention is to have a recycling plan in place for this product and close the loop as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
