Mercy Corps works with local communities to design projects that deliver: emergency relief services for people afflicted by conflict or disaster; sustainable economic solutions integrating job opportunities, agriculture, health, education and the environment; projects that promote citizen participation, accountability, and peaceful change.
Progress:
Since 1979, Mercy Corps has partnered with thousands of communities in 108 nations. Currently, the Mercy Corps worldwide team of 3,700 professionals is improving the lives of 16.7 million people in more than 40 countries.
